The Fawick Art Gallery holds multiple exhibitions each year, including the annual ceramics invitational, the juried student exhibition and the exhibition of artwork produced by senior art studio and art education majors. Other exhibitions spotlight the work of Ohio artists.
All exhibitions are free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are 2-5 p.m., Monday - Friday, or by appointment at (440) 826-2152.
The Gallery is closed during breaks, holidays and the summer months.

Time and Presence
Exhibition runs Mondays-Fridays, September 3-27
The works in this exhibition showcase narrative and metaphoric expression in both painting and ceramics from the artists and .
Using cellular-like patterning and a natural palette in her watercolors, ceramic sculptures and functional ceramics, Mendes derives narrative imagery of both human and animal that she draws intuitively from her subconscious.
Wunderlich’s acrylic paintings and ceramic sculptures use dramatic shifts in scale and describe many figures in one setting, often with lush ornamentation. Her work depicts complex personal relationships that are inspired by her experience as a daughter, mother, friend, partner and teacher.

This exhibition features an array of works by ÃÛѨÊÓƵ professor of painting
Steve Ziebarth.
On the visual level, Ziebarth is interested in experiencing some level of tension from the interweaving of seemingly disparate realities. For instance, experimenting with the ways that form can simultaneously appear both tangible and vaporous. Or, how an embodiment might give way to dissolution via paint strokes.
In the same way, he is intrigued by the idea of inverting logical expectations of natural phenomena, including the ways that light, shadow and atmosphere are perceived.
